"Mars Retrograde checkpointtttt!
You are probably like Ally Mars retrograde is like old news, we totally get it,
You probably frickin’ do ‘cause you’re so goddamned smart but I might have a helpful perspective on this that might like improve your day
Right now I want you to think about the moments in your life, and particularly moments maybe in the last few weeks, just mundane, like normal Tuesday you wouldn’t really think much of it where you are trying to do a thing and then all of a sudden there’s that crazy traffic on your way to work because there’s that construction you didn’t know about.
Or there’s that lost item that has you scrambling around the house at the last second, that plan that is delayed, the coffee spilled on your pants in the car, the costly accidents that slow you down, bill you didn’t expect to get that puts you back.
Mars retrograde presents this potent moment where we can ask: How did I respond when that happened? Was I irritated, was I rushed, did I lash out in frustration at the people around me (or at another car) or an inanimate object?
In Leo, this is a moment to ask: when things get frustrating or delayed, do I stay true to myself and how I really want to consistently show up in my life with the people around me? Can I keep radiating supportive life giving energy even when my patience is really f*ckin’ tested and things aren’t going my way? Also can I loosen up and make this absolute bullsh*t fun?
BUT WAIT
There is WAY DEEPER level here people. What else is the secret wisdom of mars retrograde? It's about what you find when your path is diverted.
When you lost that thing and tore apart your house- think about all the things you found, the old projects you discovered, those relics of your past, that thing that you thought you lost, you found it now.
When you had to take that detour and went through that part of town you’d never been to or hadn’t been in a long time it made you feel something new. You discovered something you wouldn’t have found if you had stayed on that path.
So it’s a reminder that sometimes our commitment to our path makes us blind to the wisdom of taking the time to make a detour."
