This Sagittarius full moon gazes generously upon our biggest visions and blesses the wildfires of our inspiration. With mental Mercury in its home sign of Gemini, your words (as spells) are powered up. What if you gave voice to a bigger dream? What if you believed it was possible? And can you include taking good care of yourself as part of that long-range vision?

The full moon represents the culmination of the seeds of intention we planted on the new moon. I'd like you to also think back to early/mid-May when Jupiter (the ruler of this full moon) entered combustible Aries, followed by Mars. With all this fire energy, maybe things have felt like they were moving hot and fast, like your feet have been skidding across the ground, rarely landing. Or maybe this speed change feels like a welcome wind in your formerly sluggish sails. Maybe both. Either way, be sure to tend your fires wisely.

Tending

If Aries is the spark and Leo is the hearth fire, Sagittarius is the shifting wildfire, with embers capable of traveling miles on the wind. All that expansion can leave us feeling too spread out and burned out to go anywhere if we're not careful. One can only tend so many fires at a given moment, despite our belief that we can be everywhere all at once.

Something Special

Jupiter, our full moon's ruler, is not only the planet of expansion, good luck, and freedom, it also signifies the teachers and wise ones in our lives who have inspired and shaped who we are.

If you like, take time to send a few words and spells of blessing to the wise teachers you've met on your life path. How have they helped you come into your fullness?

This full moon we can also light a candle for all our teachers who have passed. We can take time to honor the non-human teachers, too - the rivers and mountains, the cycles, the animals and plants... - all those that have been generous enough to bless us with their wisdom.

Finally, this Sagittarius full moon asks us to remember the power, courage and growth that can come from having someone believe in you. Perhaps we could all take more time to bring that blessing of belief to our tender shoots, our tender kin, our tender inner child.
